While the Highway Patrol is known for its presence on the asphalt, the Detective Division operates behind the scenes to dismantle the criminal enterprises that utilize our state’s infrastructure. This division is the elite investigative arm of the SAHP, tasked with solving complex crimes that begin on the highway but extend far into the criminal underworld.
Our detectives are not just officers; they are specialists in forensic analysis, interrogation, and covert surveillance. When a routine traffic stop uncovers a deeper conspiracy, the Detective Division takes the lead.
The Detective Division is the investigative backbone of the San Andreas Highway Patrol. We provide highly motivated officers the opportunity to move beyond traffic enforcement and dive into complex, long-term investigations.
Joining our division means gaining access to specialized training, advanced equipment, and a seat within our specialized bureaus:

Homicide and Robbery Bureau Dedicated to seeking justice for victims of violent crime. Members are trained in meticulous crime scene processing, forensic analysis, and advanced interrogation techniques to solve violent felonies and cold-blooded robberies.
